Mr. Magesh, the Managing Director of MIK Sportswear, is the second son of Ganesan and Ambikapathi. Born on June 9, 1977, in Valaiyapatty village, he faced financial struggles that led him to discontinue his studies after the 9th standard. He began his career as a helper in a garment company in Tiruppur and, after 19 years of hard work, advanced to the position of cutting master. In 2012, Mr. Magesh became the first entrepreneur to introduce a T-shirt manufacturing company in Manapparai. Starting with just five members, including himself, MIK Sportswear has grown to establish one manufacturing unit, one showroom, and three branches, employing 30 staff members. He has served as the JCI President and the Rotary President and is currently the Senior Member Association Director at JCI. He is also actively involved with BNI and the YES Club in Trichy. Mr. Magesh shares his life with his wife, Mrs. Sathya Bama, and has two children: his daughter, Miss Boomika, who is pursuing her MBBS degree in Uzbekistan, and his son, Kavibalan, who is in 10th standard.
Established in 2012 at Manapparai, Trichy District.A journey started with only 8 members is now rapidly growing with a workforce of more than 50 & with plans of increasing it many folds. In the early days MIK produced sports apparels and as market demanded it started supplying school & corporate company uniforms, also festival orders & club orders like JCI, Rotary, BNI. Now MIK is equipped with hi-tech manufacturing unit, 3 own Retail outlets & also supplying to many stores.
